Teen Shot Near CT High School A 16-year-old student was shot near a Connecticut high school, causing the school to go on lockdown. The incident took place in Hartford County around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, near New Britain High School. According to New Britain Police Chief Christopher Chute, the teen was shot by suspects in an early 2000s light blue or light gray Nissan Altima.
