Teen In Guarded Condition After Fentanyl Overdose At CT School
A Connecticut student is in guarded condition following a suspected fentanyl overdose while at school. The incident took place around 10:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13, in Hartford. Police were called to the Sport and Medical Sciences Academy, located at 280 Huyshoppe Ave., on the report of an unconscious male juvenile. According to Hartford PD Lt. A shelter in place notice at a Western Massachusetts school has been lifted after a potential threat was made on two days. The first threat came in around 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, when the school received a phone call that a threat was made Hampden County's Southwick Regional School, said Principal Joe Turmel in a statement to parents. A Connecticut high school student is hospitalized after being hit by a car while crossing the roadway leading to his school. The Hartford County student was hit around 7:10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, in Plainville, according to the principal of Plainville High School. A lockdown at two schools has been lifted and a gun has been recovered following an emergency, Thursday, Sept. 24.
