Amazon is aiming to speed up its deliveries nationwide, rolling out one-hour service in hundreds of cities and three-hour delivery in more than 2,000 communities.
The online retail giant announced the faster delivery services in a news release on Tuesday, March 17. Amazon said customers can quickly receive more than 90,000 items, including household essentials, groceries, over-the-counter medications, clothing, and toys.

Dick's Closes $2.5B Foot Locker Deal In Major Sporting Goods Merger
Dick's Sporting Goods has finalized its purchase of Foot Locker, creating a global sports retail giant with more than 3,200 stores in 20 countries.
The Pittsburgh-based chain completed the $2.5 billion deal to acquire the sneaker chain on Monday, Sept. 8. Dick's will keep Foot Locker's brands, including Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, WSS, and atmos.
The combined company will now operate across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, with licensed stores in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Target has picked a longtime executive to take over as CEO amid plummeting sales and a slumping stock throughout 2025.
Chief operating officer Michael Fiddelke will become Target's next CEO, the retail giant announced on Wednesday, Aug 20. Fiddelke, who has spent two decades at Target, will succeed current chief executive Brian Cornell on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026.
Cornell, 66, will become the executive chair of Target's board and help Fiddelke, 49, in the transition.

Fans of Skittles will soon be able to spice things up with the brand's newest candy.
Skittles will release Gummies Fuego, a sweet-and-spicy twist on the classic candy. McLean, Virginia-based Mars Inc. announced the "swicy" flavor in a news release on Monday, Aug. 18.

More than 3.5 million garden hoses are being recalled after they suddenly burst, injuring nearly 30 people.
Winston Products issued the recall for about 3.6 million HydroTech expandable garden hoses, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, July 24. The hoses were marketed as "burst-proof," but they can rupture, causing an impact hazard and, in some cases, temporarily impairing hearing.
