Ben & Jerry Founders Unveil New 'Kamala' Ice Cream Move on, chocolate chip, Kamala's new flavor is dropping.  The co-founders of Ben & Jerry's, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, just announced  that they have teamed up with the progressive advocacy group MoveOn.Org to create a new flavor of ice cream called "Kamala's Coconut Jubilee," in honor of Vice President Harris' presidential campaign.  It's part of a get out the vote campaign that will kick off with a rally in Philadelphia on Monday, Sept. 16. Harris Taps Gov. Tim Walz As Running Mate As Swing State Tour Starts Ahead Of Convention Vice President Kamala Harris has ended weeks of speculation after naming Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate on Tuesday, Aug. 6.  The 60-year-old Walz was a seemingly late entrant to the "veepstakes" but gained popularity after several media appearances went viral.  The chair of the Democratic Governor's Association, Walz was a US Congressman from 2007 to 2019. A former high school social studies teacher, he's served 24 years in the Army National Guard. Congressman Neal Says Political Ad On Campaign Donations Is 'Defamatory' Local TV channels have received cease and desist letters by an attorney representing Congressman Richard Neal over the broadcasting of a political ad Neal's team says is "false" and “defamatory.” The ad takes aim at donations made to Neal’s campaign, noting that the longtime Congressman from Springfield has a war chest that contains money from many super PACs.  The letter was written by Neal’s legal counsel Perkins Coie and sent to WWLP-22News, EGGB-TV, WGGB-TV, and WSHM-TV on Aug. 19.
