A section of I-691 West was shut down in Connecticut following a two-car crash with one person seriously injured. The crash took place in Hartford County around 6:45 a.m. in Southington near Exit 4. According to state police, a 42-year-old Meriden man driving a 2008 Kia Rio was stopped or traveling slowly due to tire damage from a previous collision when the car was hit from behind by a 49-year-old Meriden man driving a Nissan Pathfinder. Suspect Nabbed In Shooting On College Campus In Connecticut After Multi-State Search
A 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting at a university in Connecticut that sparked a multi-state search has been captured by police. Darnell Barnes was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, and charged in connection with a shooting and car crash on Friday, Nov. 4 at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. Emma Gagnon is believed to be operating a Nissan Pathfinder with the Connecticut registration 1ASWK7, Connecticut State Police out of the Litchfield barracks said in issuing a Silver Alert early Monday morning, July 18. Man, Woman Killed In Two-Vehicle CT Crash
A man and woman were both killed in a crash between an SUV and a motorcycle on a busy Connecticut roadway. It happened in Tolland County around 2:15 p.m. Friday, June 10 in Stafford, in the area of Route 190 (Buckley Highway) and Fenton Road. Upon police and EMS arrival, the driver of the motorcycle, a Honda GL1800, was declared dead, Connecticut State Police said.
