A Connecticut woman has filed a lawsuit against a restaurant company in New York after allegedly finding herself chewing on part of a severed human finger while eating a salad served at one of the company's locations within the county. 450 Patients File Lawsuit Against Salem Hospital After Potential Exposure To HIV, Hepatitis
Patients have filed a class-action lawsuit against Salem Hospital after nearly 450 of them say they were potentially exposed to HIV and hepatitis through their IVs. Endoscopy patients at Salem Hospital “were potentially exposed to infection due to the administration of their intravenous medication in a manner not consistent with our best practice,” the hospital said in a statement to the Daily Voice.
