Police in Berkshire County said a man was stabbed on a Pittsfield street Tuesday night, Sept. 12, in what investigators believe was a targeted attack, officials said. Man Charged With Central Mass Murder From 2013: DA
A 42-year-old Fitchburg man has been charged in the shooting death of Shaun Hibbard in 2013. John Yang was arraigned on a murder charge on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and he is being held without bail, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. He'll return to court on Oct. 18. A 37-year-old man recovering from a gunshot wound at Baystate Medical Center is charged with a Thursday, Aug. 31, killing, authorities said. A Connecticut man has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty by a jury of killing a 33-year-old woman and cutting off her head and dumping her body in a park.
