Lowell Woman, 64, Found Stabbed To Death Inside Home; Police Investigating Authorities in Lowell are investigating after a 64-year-old woman was found dead inside her home, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. Lowell Police responded to Linda Gilbert's home on Loring Street around 11:19 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, the office reports. Upon arrival, officers found Gilbert unresponsive and with apparent trauma. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later determined Gilbert had died from multiple stabbed wounds.
