Female Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Connecticut An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on a Connecticut roadway and died at the hospital from her injuries. Officers in Hartford County responded to the Berlin Turnpike southbound in Wethersfield near Pawtucket Avenue at about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, after receiving multiple reports about the crash, the Wethersfield Police Department reported. The pedestrian was found lying in the road suffering from serious injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.
