21-Year-Old ID'd As Man Killed After Falling From Truck In Central Mass Authorities have identified the 21-year-old man who died after he fell from a pick-up truck in Worcester County over the weekend, authorities said.  Dan Cleary, of Charlton, fell from a Ford truck around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, on Stafford Street, the Worcester County District Attorney said. He was a passenger.  Paramedics rushed Cleary to UMass Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead. The driver of the truck called police and remained at the scene, officials said. Suspicious Package Leads To Evacuation In Western Mass A suspicious package in Hampden County forced officials to order an evacuation late Thursday night, March 23, authorities said.  Firefighters were called to the area near Main and James streets in Holyoke when someone found the package around 11 p.m., the Holyoke Fire Department said. Residents in that area were asked to leave until police could figure out if it was dangerous.  Massachusetts State troopers were called to investigate and later determined it posed no threat. Residents were allowed to return home just after midnight, the fire department said.

The man, who was not identified, was out hunting in the Knightville Dam area in Huntington when he became lost and found himself on a patch of ice 300 feet from shore, according to MassLive.
