A pre-Thanksgiving fight at a family-friendly restaurant in Saugus has gone international, picking up coverage in England and other countries as videos of the brawl continue to be shared on social media.

An Essex County family was devastated when its mother died in an act of "unmatched courage," but hundreds of supporters are doling out support in spades.
Melissa Bagley, a 44-year-old woman married to Everett police lieutenant Sean Bagley, died on Tuesday, Aug. 15, after she jumped into a fast-moving body of water at Franconia Falls in Lincoln, New Hampshire, to save her son, as reported by Daily Voice.
Her children survived, but despite her husband's attempts to save her using CPR, Bagley perished in the tragic event.

One Keno lottery game drawing doled out $100,00 wins to over a dozen Massachusetts lottery players in only a single night.
Monday, April 11 was a lucky night for 16 lottery players who all won $100,000 in a Keno game drawing, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Level 3 Sex Offender From Massachusetts Arrested In Maine On Rape Charges
A Level 3 sex offender from Massachusetts will be charged as a fugitive after he was arrested on rape charged in Maine this week, authorities said.
John Bastian, age 64, of Lynn, was wanted on several charges including indecent assault and battery on person with intellectual disability, enticement of a child under 16, and rape of a child with force, the US Marshals Service reports.
A warrant for Bastian's arrest was issued out of Lynn District Court on Sept. 2 but be wasn't arrested until Monday, Sept. 12 in Norway, ME, the agency reports.

Authorities have released the identities of the four family members who died in an apparent murder/suicide in Lynn earlier this week.
Investigators determined that Kahosay Sharifi, age 31, shot and killed her 66-year-old father, Mohamad Sharifi, and 34-year-old brother-in-law, Sanjar Halin, at 98 Rockaway Street on Tuesday, Aug. 23, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.

Massachusetts Man, 21, Dies Day After Pulled From North Shore Lake
A young man who was pulled from a lake on the North Shore has died a day later, authorities said.
Maynor Salas Lopez, age 21, of Lynn, was pulled from Silver Lake in Breakheart Reservation in Saugus around 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, Massachusetts State Police said.
After performing CPR on Lopez, he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He died the next morning, police said.
Lopez was apparently swimming with his family when he started to struggle in the water, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation.
Fentanyl, Crack Seized From Boston-Area Man Following 'Lengthy Police Investigation'
A "lengthy police investigation" just outside Boston has resulted in the arrest of a man from Lynn on multiple drug trafficking-related charges, authorities said.
Police seized multiple controlled illegal substances from Victor Martinez, age 22, during his arrest on Thursday, June 23, Winthrop Police said.
Some of the items seized included 160 grams of Fentanyl, 22 grams of crack cocaine, $2,500 in cash, a .22 caliber firearm, .45 caliber ammunition and two pistol magazines, police said.
