'There's A Grenade In My Car': Man's Comment Spark Response In Stow — More Dud Than Deadly A man prompted a full response from multiple police and firefighter agencies in Middlesex County after he walked into a building and reported that he had found a grenade in the trunk of his car.  Stow first responders and members of multiple bomb squads rushed to the area on Friday, March 22. Police cleared the area around 2:15 p.m. and bomb techs prepared to get to work.  The man was telling the truth.
