While the main X platform loaded, users reported that it was not possible to access posts, with an error message of "Something went wrong" appearing. As of 9:15 a.m., nearly 26,000 users reported issues with X, formerly known as Twitter, on downdetector.com. Outages were first reported at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 when websites including Amazon, Verizon, Zoom, Slack, and others that have become essential during the pandemic went down.
