A Connecticut man with outstanding warrants was arrested over the weekend following a tense confrontation with state police, authorities said.
Maxx Gallup, 26, and another man were spotted walking along the southbound shoulder of Route 32 around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, near Alice Street in Windham, while wearing all black, Connecticut state police said. A woman and man are facing charges after a burglary and fight with officers in Connecticut.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24, troopers from Troop C in Tolland responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a residence on Middle Turnpike, in Mansfield.
The reporting party advised Troop C that the residence was known to be unoccupied for an extended period of time, state police said.

A 34-year-old man is facing charges after police said he struck four pedestrians with an SUV, killing two people in Connecticut last year.
Hartford County resident Shawn Wright, of Windsor, was arrested at about 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, Connecticut State Police reported.
