Head-On Crash Sends 3 To Hospital In Western Mass One person was critically wounded and two others were taken to a hospital after a head-on collision in Berkshire County Friday night, July 28.  The crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. at 1292 North St. in Pittsfield when a southbound Chevrolet Silverado truck slammed into a northbound Nissan Rogue, Pittsfield police said.  The driver of the Rogue was rushed to Berkshire Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later taken to Baystate Medical Center, authorities said. One Person Critical, Another Hurt In Western Mass Fire: Fire Department An early morning fire in Hampden County sent two people to the hospital — one with critical injuries, authorities said.  The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, in a shed at 901 Main Street in Agawam, the Agawam Fire Department said. The building was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.  Crews quickly put it out, but two civilians were hurt in the blaze. Paramedics rushed them both to Baystate Medical Center.
