Last week, law enforcement agencies put into action a plan to bring down two “highly organized, high-volume” drug trafficking organizations in Massachusetts, police said. No Jail Time For Teen Holyoke Drug Dealer A 19-year-old man who was found guilty of selling heroin in Holyoke will not serve any time in jail. Alexis Santana, 19, of Holyoke was sentenced to three years of probation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts. The government had recommended a four-month prison sentence. Court records indicate that Santana sold heroin in October of 2019 in Holyoke. Santana pleaded guilty to distributing and possession with intent to distribute heroin in March.

Hartford Drug Dealer Known As 'Heavy' Sentenced For Trafficking A Hartford man known as “Heavy” has been sentenced to 60 months of imprisonment for his involvement in a drug trafficking ring specializing in heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and crack. Pedro “Heavy” Rivera, 42, pleaded guilty on Aug. 29, 2019, to one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine, according to the U.S. Justice Department. On Monday, July 13, he was sentenced to 60 months in prison and five years of probation.
