A Western Mass man being held at the Hampshire Jail while awaiting trial in connection with the 2019 slaying of his girlfriend, has been charged with allegedly plotting to kill the prosecutor and a witness in the case. The case of whether Cara Rintala killed her wife that twice ended in a hung jury, may get another airing. Rintala, 53, is seeking to appeal her 2016 murder conviction over the 2010 death of her wife Annamarie Cochrane Rintala. Northampton Man Added To Most Wanted List For Child Pornography Charges
A Northampton man has been added to the state’s Most Wanted list as he continues to evade arrest, Jude Demeis, 49, is wanted by police on charges that include three counts of possession of child pornography and posing or exhibiting a child in the nude. Demeis is about 6 feet tall and weighs 180 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes. He is white. Massachusetts State Police added Demeis to their Most Wanted List on July 21.
