Teen Missing For Weeks In Western Mass, Police Ask Public For Help Police in Hampden County have asked the public to help them track down a 13-year-old who has been missing since last month, authorities said.  Jacob Pagan ran away from his youth program on Arnold Avenue on June 20 and hasn't returned since.  Police said he is 5 feet, 6 inches tall.  Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts or his disappearance to contact the  Youth Aide Bureau at 413-787-6360 or the non-emergency line at 413-787-6300.

Do You Know Him?: Western Mass Cops Release Photos Of Man Possibly Linked To Shooting Police in Hampden County are asking the public for help to find a man caught on surveillance cameras that police believe may have information about a shooting last week.  The shooting happened on June 30 near Chicopee and Prospect Streets. Investigators did not release any information on the victims.  Despite the poor quality of the photos, Chicopee police released the images in the hopes that it would generate tips to track the man down.  Investigators ask anyone who recognizes the man or has information on the shooting to contact the Chicopee detectives at 413-594-1740.

Man, Dog Rescued From Balcony In Western Mass Apartment Fire Firefighters in Hampden County plucked a man and his dog from their balcony after a fire broke out in a Chicopee apartment on a rainy Sunday morning, July 2, officials said.  Fire crews were called to Chicopee Housing Authority apartments on Britton Street around 4:45 a.m., Chicopee fire authorities said.  Firefighters found a man and his dog trapped on a third-story balcony of the building and used a 35-foot ladder to rescue them from the flames.  No other injuries were reported, but  the fire displaced 10 people.  Firefighters are investigating what sparked the …

2 Shot In Chicopee; Police Searching For Shooter Police in Hampden County are investigating a shooting early Friday morning, June 30, that sent two people to the hospital in Chicopee, authorities said.  Chicopee police received a 911 call around 1:30 a.m. about a double shooting near the intersection of Grattan and Meadow streets, officials said. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.  Investigators ask anyone with information on the shooting or security video from that area at that time to contact Chicopee detectives at 413-594-1740.
