39-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Western Mass Crash A 39-year-old Western Mass man was killed when his motorcycle went off the roadway. Hampshire County resident Gregory J. Papageorge was killed around 1:30 a.m., Saturday, June 5, at the intersection of Pantry and Mountain roads in Hatfield, said Laurie Loisel, with the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. Investigators said Papageorge, of Hatfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
