Minor Charged With Stabbing Man Multiple Times In Worcester Attack A juvenile was charged with stabbing a 30-year-old man multiple times in an attack on Wednesday, May 29, in Worcester, authorities said.  The attack happened around 1 p.m. on Sunderland Road. Worcester Police said the man suffered serious wounds in the stabbing. Paramedics took him to an area hospital where he remained on Thursday.  Police arrested the minor in the Green Street area after a brief foot chase. He kicked officers as they put him in handcuffs, and he was carrying a large kitchen knife, Worcester authorities said.  The juvenile's name was not released because of …

Popular Worcester Restaurant To Close; Second Canal District Eatery To End This Week Maddi's Cookery and Taphouse, a staple in Worcester's Canal District, announced on Facebook this week that it would close its doors for good after this weekend.  Maddi's owner Adam Hicks posted that it was because of  "circumstances beyond our control, we will be ceasing operations as of next weekend. It’s been a great 4+ years and we can thank our guests and staff enough."
