Sushi Sold At Supermarkets In CT, MA Recalled Due To Undeclared Allergens
A company has recalled several sushi products that were sold at supermarkets in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Food, Standards and Product Safety issued a food safety warning on Thursday, Aug. 11, for EZ Noble Sushi, which was available for purchase during the week of Monday, Aug. 8, at Geissler’s Supermarkets in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
EZ Noble Sushi recalled several products that contain undeclared eggs, wheat, and milk.

CT Man Gets 40-Year Sentence For Child Exploitation
A Connecticut man will spend decades behind bars after being sentenced for child exploitation offenses.
Hartford County resident Jonathan Monson, of Granby, was convicted in October last year of four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, eight counts of distribution of child pornography, two counts of receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.
On Monday, May 24, Monson, age 39, was sentenced in federal court in Springfield to 40 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts announced.

A bunch of dads has come together to open a new pub in Granby.
Four Dads Pub is now applying for a liquor license as the eatery and bar near its official opening at 18 Hartford Ave.
The pub will feature food, booze, sports games on the tube, karaoke, and acoustic music.
Four Dads is owned by Dante Boffi, Mario Fino, Mark Garbeck, and Eugene Smyth.
