A sweeping new Olympic policy will ban transgender women from women's competitions at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. Stephanie Turner trained for this moment all year. But when her name was called at a regional fencing tournament in Maryland, she dropped to her knees instead of raising her sword.
