Federal officials say members of Congress and a group of protestors forced their way into a New Jersey immigration detention center housing some of the country’s most violent offenders—even though a federal law explicitly gives the lawmakers the right to be there. UDel Grad Student, 24, Killed By Fugitive Fleeing Cops In U-Haul Van, Police Say
A 24-year-old Maryland woman has been identified as the victim killed by a man wanted out of multiple states when he plowed into pedestrians and parked cars in a stolen U-Haul van in Delaware, authorities announced. Gordon Turner, 22, of New Castle, DE was arrested and is facing multiple charges in the Monday, April 29 crash that left Marina Vasconcelos, of Northeast, MD, dead, police said in a news release Thursday, May 1. Search For Fugitive Northeast Killer Now 'Nationwide' Manhunt, Police Say
Danelo Cavalcante has somehow slipped by the hundreds of law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania and neighboring states searching for him in the Longwood Gardens, and though authorities believe he is still in Pennsylvania, they are now describing the search as a "nationwide" manhunt. Most Wanted: Mass State Police Seek 3 Fugitives Wanted For Homicide
A trio of fugitives wanted for "the ultimate crime" have been added to the Massachusetts State Police most wanted list, officials say. Wanted for three fatal shootings collectively, police are seeking three Eastern Massachusetts men, Luis Soto, Jerome Fordham, and David Lynch, "so that we may speak for their victims," according to Massachusetts State Police. Soto, 33, is wanted for shooting two men at a Dollar Tree store on North Montello Street in Brockton. 'Violent Fugitives' Wanted For Shooting Man During Cape Cod Robbery: Police
Authorities on Cape Cod are looking for two "violent fugitives" who allegedly shot a man during a robbery. Police responded for a reported robbery and shooting at Crocker Street in Hyannis around 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, according to Barnstable Police on Facebook. Upon arrival, officers found one victim, identified as a 19-year-old man, suffering from gunshot wounds to both of his arms.
