Thousands of unionized Stop & Shop workers say they will go on strike if the supermarket chain shuts down a massive distribution center. Teamsters Local 25, which represents nearly 1,000 employees at a warehouse in Freetown, Massachusetts, says the company will close it and outsource operations if workers do not agree to a new health care contract, according to Supermarket News.
