3 Homemade Bombs Found In Worcester; Police Warn Of Unattended Items
Worcester police say they have located three explosive devices throughout the city since they found the remnants of a small explosion last month. Police learned of the explosion on Wednesday, June 19, at 185 Madison St. They found fireworks, a butane gas can, and projectile materials at the scene, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. Kids Run After Sparking Fire Playing With Fireworks In Central Mass: Police
Police in Sturbridge are asking for the public's help to find a trio of kids who sparked a fire while playing with fireworks this week and then ran away. Multiple people called 911 on Thursday, Dec. 16, when they saw the three kids — all seemed to be 12 or 13 years old — playing with fireworks along New Boston Road. The explosive ignited a grass fire before they jumped on their bikes to make their escape, police said. Rowley Man Accidentally Sets Fireworks Off In His Apartment: Fire Officials
A Rowley man will be in court after accidentally lighting illegal fireworks inside his apartment last week, fire officials said. An alarm prompted fire crews to respond to the area of 870 Haverhill Street on the morning of Friday, June 10, Rowley Fire Chief James C. Broderick and State Fire Marshal Peter J.
