In Memory: U.S. Flags At Half-Mast Friday, Sept. 4, Across Massachusetts American flags across Massachusetts will be flown at half-mast today in honor of a fallen soldier. Gov. Baker has lowered the flags from sunrise to sunset on Friday, Sept. 4, in coordination with the funeral services of SGT Brandon Wieland of Holliston who died on Aug. 24. Weiland’s mother, Lisa Ann Wieland, lives in Winchendon.
