Man Found Dead Near Mall In New England
A man was found dead in a secluded outdoor area near a Connecticut mall. Police in in New Haven County said the discovery occurred at about 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Brass Mill Center Mall in Waterbury. Officers responding to reports of an unresponsive person located the body of the person in a remote area near the mall’s parking lot. The case is being treated as an untimely death. ID Released Of Woman Who Died After Turbulence Diverts Plane To Bradley International
The name of a woman who died after a turbulence event forced a plane to land at Bradley International Airport has been released by authorities. Maryland resident Dana Hyde, age 55, of the city of Cabin John in Montgomery County, suffered fatal injuries from the flight, which landed at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks on Friday, March 3, according to Connecticut State Police. Troopers responded to the Hartford County airport around 3:50 p.m. on Friday to assist with the medical emergency. Hiker Who Fell To His Death From Cliff ID'd As Fairfield County Resident
A hiker who died after falling from a cliff at a park on the Housatonic River in Connecticut has been identified as a Fairfield County resident. Joao P. Lucas, age 39, of Danbury, died on Sunday, April 4, after being reported missing by others he was hiking at Lover's Leap State Park in New Milford, said DEEP Spokesman Will Healey.
