3rd-Generation Revere Firefighter Dies At 35: 'Vibrant Spirit,' 'Infectious Smile' The Revere Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its brothers after beloved firefighter Steve Ferrante Jr. died last week. He was just 35 years old.  It's unclear what caused his death on Oct. 4, but the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts listed it as an "active duty death."
