MSNBC will undergo its biggest identity shift in decades, as the cable TV network splits from NBC News. The channel will be known as "MS Now" by the end of 2025, CNBC reported. The home of "Love Island," Premier League soccer, and many popular movies is about to get more expensive. Peacock is raising its monthly rates by $3 starting on Wednesday, July 23, Vulture reported. It's the biggest price hike since the NBC streaming platform launched in 2020. Several major media companies will cover travel costs for employees seeking abortions in response to the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs. Wade, Variety reports. At least one town is so irked by Comcast’s new internet service cap that it’s looking into starting a municipal internet option. On Thursday, Feb. 11, the creation of a Municipal Fiber Task Force to study implementing an internet network throughout Agawam was announced by Mayor William P. Sapelli. Comcast promised to put a cap on customer data-usage and some people say they can notice a difference in their service. Comcast’s planned data caps went into effect on Jan. 1, in 12 states - including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania - plus Washington, D.C.
