A Connecticut man has been found guilty in the kidnapping and killing of a Massachusetts man whose body was later discovered bound in a car in a Somers field.
Timothy Lange, 36, of New Britain, was convicted on Thursday, March 5, of second-degree kidnapping, felony murder, and tampering with evidence after a trial before Judge Tejas Bhatt, according to Tolland Judicial District State’s Attorney Craig P. Nowak.
Prosecutors said the case began early on Aug. 4, 2021, at a bar in East Windsor.

Mass Army Vet Dies Saving Son, Niece From Drowning While On Vacation: 'He Was A Warrior'
A Massachusetts man who was honored as a hero on the battlefield proved his heroism once again, sacrificing his life to save his son and niece from drowning.
Joshua Curtis, 38, of Halifax, was visiting family at Fernandina Beach, Florida — just north of Jacksonville — last week when a rip current dragged his 6-year-old son and niece deep into the ocean, according to reports.
Curtis swam out and rescued them but drowned in the effort. Both children survived.
"He's a warrior, and he sacrificed his life for the children," his mother, Dawn Wall, told CBS News.
