The suspect in both the mass shooting at Brown University and the killing of an MIT professor has been found dead by suicide, officials announced Thursday night, Dec. 18.
He was identified in an affidavit (attached at the bottom of this news article), and signed Thursday in Rhode Island as Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, 48, a former Brown University student and a national of Portugal, whose last known address was in Miami, Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez said at a press conference. Kitty Dukakis, the wife of former Massachusetts Governor and presidential nominee Michael Dukakis, died on Friday, March 21, at the age of 88, her family said.

Three thousand Americans voted to determine the American suburb with the most enviable lifestyle, and five Massachusetts communities made the list.
A handful of Massachusetts suburbs were named among the 175 suburbs with the most "enviable lifestyle" in America, according to Moving Feedback, an online platform designed to help people move.
Brookline, Needham, and Wellesley, all in Norfolk County, scored spots 91, 147, and 156, respectively.

Whole Foods To Close Stores In Four States
Whole Foods will be shuttering the doors of six markets across four states, including one location in the North East, Amazon announced, according to a Bloomberg report.
Citing long-term goals, Amazon, which purchased Whole Foods for $13 billion in 2017, confirmed that some stores will soon be closing as they shift their business plan.
