'Special, Joyful, Welcoming' Worcester Brewery, Taproom Closing After 6 Years A staple of Massachusetts’ booming brewery scene announced it will turn the taps off at the end of the month. Redemption Rock Brewery in Worcester shared on Facebook that its last day will be Sunday, Dec. 29. “Despite our best efforts, we simply haven’t been able to grow the business enough to remain open. From Bar Exams To Bar Owners: Worcester Brewery Will Host Grand Opening To Fanfare What started out as an interesting idea between two waiters and friends waiting on their Bar exam results to become lawyers nearly a decade ago is now a bar. Consider yourself served.  Courthouse Brew Co. will hold its grand opening on Friday, Sept. 29, at the Whittall Mill Complex in Worcester, 3 Brussels St., Suite 120. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Joseph Petty at 4:30. A food truck will be on hand. White Lion Brewery officials opened its new brewery and taproom to much fanfare including plenty of music, and well, beer, on Wednesday, June 23, in Springfield.
