Police are searching for a woman who they say assaulted a grocery delivery man in Boston. The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 9 in Roxbury, according to the Boston Police Department. At approximately 6:50 p.m. that day, a man was delivering groceries in the area of Dale Street when the unknown woman struck. Police said the woman threw both a stapler and a phone at the delivery man’s head before leaving the scene. A Massachusetts woman has been arrested after she was allegedly caught altering and cashing a Connecticut resident’s checks years prior. Isis Serrano, a Boston resident, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 7 for the Fairfield County incident, according to police. The 24-year-old woman is accused of fraudulently altering and cashing checks from a resident of the town of Wilton in 2019. She was 20 at the time of the reported crime. Lower Updated Snow Totals For Mass; Gov. Healey Says Residents Should Prepare Emergency Kits
The National Weather Service said the winter storm expected to batter much of the Northeast on Tuesday, Feb. 13, has taken a "southward shift," which could mean less snow for Massachusetts. Gov. Maura Healey has asked residents to prepare and take precautions anyway.
