'Horrific Living Conditions': 3 Kids Removed From Western Mass Home Deemed 'Uninhabitable'
Three children were taken from a Hampden County apartment last week after investigators searched it on a drugs warrant and found the living conditions "horrific," Holyoke police said. A task force of several area agencies raided the home at 149 Essex Street to search for drugs, but what they found was much worse. A beloved Pioneer Valley pizzeria is closing for two weeks due to COVID-19. As of Thursday, Oct. 22, Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield is closed and will remain so for the next two weeks due to the impact COVID-19 has had on the restaurant.
