'Machine Gun' Bust: Central Mass Man Charged With Owning Glock Switches, Feds Say
A Worcester County man was arrested on Tuesday, March 7, after police found at his home several illegal gun accessories that can allow a semi-automatic weapon to fire like a fully automatic one, authorities said.
Jose Rivera, 24, of Worcester, faces one count of unlawful possession of a machine gun, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. He will be held pending a hearing on Friday.

Two men busted in Springfield on gun and drug charges allegedly altered a pistol to make it fire like a fully-automatic weapon, authorities said.
Carlos Dejesus, 31, of Holyoke, and Jamian Velez-Berrios, 19, of Chicopee, face several charges after they were arrested in a traffic stop last week, Springfield police said.

Police and federal agents raided a home in Holyoke earlier this week to bust a man suspected of trafficking heroin and found a stockpile of drugs, cash, and an unlicensed gun, authorities said.
