'Wide Range Of Possibilities' For Hurricane Tammy: Here's What To Know Now As newly formed Hurricane Tammy heads north, forecasters say it will take a few days to determine its long-term path. As of Monday afternoon, Oct. 23, Tammy, a Category 1 storm, is located in the eastern Caribbean, north of Anguilla. It's expected to affect the islands of Bermuda late this week.
