A Connecticut man with outstanding warrants was arrested over the weekend following a tense confrontation with state police, authorities said.
Maxx Gallup, 26, and another man were spotted walking along the southbound shoulder of Route 32 around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, near Alice Street in Windham, while wearing all black, Connecticut state police said. When troopers arrived, one of the men ran into the woods, but Gallup confronted them.

A 19-year-old Western Massachusetts man accused of drunkenly crashing into more than a dozen gravestones in Northampton said it wasn't him, authorities said.
Matthew James Dulude, of Holyoke, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, April 11, to charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, speeding, possession of open containers of alcohol, and failure to wear a seatbelt, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.

A bunch of dads has come together to open a new pub in Granby.
Four Dads Pub is now applying for a liquor license as the eatery and bar near its official opening at 18 Hartford Ave.
The pub will feature food, booze, sports games on the tube, karaoke, and acoustic music.
Four Dads is owned by Dante Boffi, Mario Fino, Mark Garbeck, and Eugene Smyth.
