Two-Alarm Fire In Western Mass: Firefighters Searching For Cause

A two-alarm blaze in Springfield Thursday, March 9, torched an apartment building and displaced two people, authorities said. 

The fire was reported around 9 a.m. at an apartment at 69 Princeton St. in Springfield.

The fire was reported around 9 a.m. at 69 Princeton St. Investigators believe it started in the second-floor apartment, but they do not know what sparked the blaze. 

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced.
