14-Year-Old Injured In Bridgeport Shooting; Police Searching For Tips Police in Fairfield County are investigating the weekend shooting of a 14-year-old in Bridgeport, authorities said.  The shooting was reported just after 5 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in the 700 block of Union Avenue, according to police. Officers were alerted by a ShotSpotter activation. Shortly after the incident, the teen arrived at Bridgeport Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, authorities said. They are expected to recover.
