Westbury Man Raped 5-Year-Old Girl, Police Say A Long Island man is accused of sexually abusing a young girl. Wilson Castillo Diaz, age 26, of Westbury, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 22, following an investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Special Victims Squad. The case was publicized Friday, Nov. 1. According to police, Diaz raped a 5-year-old girl in Westbury on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Ariya Shingler, age 14, was last seen leaving Hempstead High School at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to Nassau County Police. She was reported missing Wednesday afternoon. Shingler is 5-foot-3 and 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing tan pants, a black sweatshirt, a pink bonnet, and was carrying a black handbag.
