Lynn Man Dies After Apartment Fire; Marks State's 40th Fire Fatality Of Year A Massachusetts man who was severely injured in an apartment fire over the weekend has died, authorities said. The man, a Lynn resident in his 40s, was found unconscious on the third floor of a six-family apartment building at 104-106 Lewis St. around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, the State Fire Marshal's Office said. The man's name has not been released. Crews contained the fire to a single room and extinguished it in about an hour. Lynn firefighters performed CPR on the man at the scene, and paramedics rushed him to Salem Hospital. Doctors later transferred him to Brigham and Women’s…

Teen From Region Killed After Crashing Car Into Tree A 19-year-old Connecticut woman was killed over the weekend after she crashed into a tree in Hartford County, authorities announced. 50-Year-Old Mansfield Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Wrentham Crash Police have identified the 50-year-old man who was killed in a Route 1 crash in Wrentham late last week.  Jose Ocasio, of Mansfield, was critically wounded when he made an abrupt U-turn in his 2014 Mercedes CLA from the center lane and was T-boned by a pick-up truck in the left lane, police said.  Firefighters had to cut Ocasio out of his sedan so paramedics could rush him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where doctors pronounced him dead. Police Investigating Triple Stabbing In Holbrook Police in Holbrook are investigating a triple stabbing that happened early Saturday morning, July 13.  Officers received a 911 call around 3:30 a.m. about the attack near 166 Longmeadow Drive, Holbrook police said.  When they arrived, police found two men and one woman suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics rushed the victims to an area hospital for treatment.  Authorities did not provide information on the severity of their wounds or updates on their conditions.  Officers do not believe this was a random attack and say there is no ongoing threat to the community.…
