Tractor-Trailer Chase Ends In Crash Off I-95 Ramp; Suspect On Run A dramatic police pursuit involving a tractor-trailer barreling through Needham ended in a crash, but the driver remains on the loose, authorities said.  State Police say the chase began around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, when troopers spotted the truck moving erratically on the University Avenue ramp leading to Interstate 95 North. When the driver refused to stop, authorities escalated the situation, deploying multiple cruisers, the Air Wing, and a K9 unit. Semi-Pro Football Player Killed In Rollover Crash On I-91 A 22-year-old man who was a star running back for a Connecticut semi-pro football team was killed after crashing his car on I-91 in Hartford County, authorities said.  Davian Andrew Pallotto, of Prospect in New Haven County, died after he rolled his 2007 Cadillac CTS around 11:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, Connecticut State Police said.  Pallotto was driving north on I-91 when he veered across a lane of traffic onto a grassy median, where the car lost control near Exit 23 and began to tumble, authorities said. Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Authorities pronounced Murray dead at the scene.…

Mansfield Man Killed In Wrentham Crash A 50-year-old Mansfield man was killed on Friday, Aug. 2, in a two-car crash in Wrentham.  Troopers were called to the wreck on Route 1 when a 2014 Mercedes CLA sedan traveling north on Route 1 attempted to make an abrupt U-turn from the center lane, State police said. The sedan slammed into a car in the left lane.  Paramedics rushed the driver of the Mercedes to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries.  Authorities have not released his name as they notify his next of kin. The driver in the second car was not injured.  Police closed a portion of the road …
