Hackensack firefighters were called to South Newman Street for a "man in machine" emergency around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, the department said. Crews arrived in less than four minutes and found that the worker had been able to free himself from the machine but was experiencing a large amount of blood loss, firefighters said. Asana Partners acquired The Hills Village Center, a 110,000-square-foot retail property at 550 Hills Drive in Bedminster, JLL Capital Markets announced Thursday, Oct. 1. The officer, a member of the Woodbridge PBA 38 Executive Board, was struck on Route 35 on Tuesday night, Sept. 29, the union said.
