Cori Clingman, 25, pleaded guilty this week to three counts of negligent homicide under the influence of alcohol for her role in the July 2024 crash that claimed the lives of 24-year-old Khyree Jackson, 23-year-old Isaiah Hazel, and 24-year-old Anthony Lytton, Jr., according to the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office.

A Massachusetts man was killed while crossing Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County Police announced on Friday, Nov. 14.
Jim Jones, 55, of Fall River, was in the crosswalk at Fifth Avenue when he was hit by a 2013 Honda Civic in the right lane of westbound Veterans Memorial Highway at 7:11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, according to Fifth Squad detectives.
Jones was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 23-year-old mother was struck and killed earlier this week in Methuen, authorities announced.
Erika Newvill, of Haverhill, was hit by a Honda CR-V near 301 Merrimack St. (Route 110) around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11. The driver remained at the scene, Methuen police said.
Paramedics rushed Newvill to Lawrence General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, authorities said.

Authorities have identified the 34-year-old woman killed earlier this month after she was struck by a car in Chicopee.
Vanessa Perez, of Springfield, was hit around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in the 1,200 block of Abbey Memorial Drive, Chicopee police said. She died of her injuries before paramedics could arrive to take her to a nearby hospital.

Two people were killed and a third was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash in Charles County, state police confirmed.
