Jovani Delossantos, age 29, of Worcester, was arrested on Wednesday, May 10, in a parking lot in Woburn, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said. He is charged with murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily harm, armed assault with intent to murder, and mayhem, the prosecutor said.

A judge ordered him held without bail.

Ivanildo Cabral, 29, of Worcester, and another man were shot near the Mojito Country Club's parking lot on Mazzeo Drive. Authorities did not say what sparked the confrontation.

Cabral did not survive his injuries. The other victim was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening wounds, but doctors were able to save his life.

Shawn Johnson, 29, of Worcester, was arrested in March and charged with Cabral's killing, Norfolk County officials said. He is being held without bail.

Bianca Chionchio, 28, was indicted with accessory after the fact of murder for allegedly driving Johnson and Delossantos to New York after the shooting, the prosecutor said. She pleaded not guilty and was being held on a $15,000 bond.
