During his time writing for newspapers, magazines, and online publications, he’s covered everything from murderers to mommy bloggers, but his most interesting story is always the next one.

Suspicious White Powder Sent To Election Offices Across Country — Including CT A package with a suspicious white substance was intercepted at a United States Post Office in Connecticut earlier this week and could be part of a much larger scheme to disrupt or scare election workers ahead of election day, authorities said.  The package was found at a West Hartford post office on Monday, Sept. 16, the Connecticut Secretary of State said in a news release. Kerri-Lynn Major, principal at Slade Middle School in New Britain, sent a letter to parents on Tuesday, Sept. 17, that NBC Connecticut published. Mom Of 2 Killed On Son's 8th Birthday Along With Father Of 5 In I-95 Crash In Groton Police have identified the man and woman who were killed last week in a single-vehicle crash on I-95 in Connecticut.  Timothy Montague, age 36, and Lori-Lynn Botero, 34, both of New London, died on Friday night, Sept. 13, when Montague's truck clipped a guardrail at the Exit 87 off-ramp in Groton, struck a tree, and burst into flames, Connecticut State Police said.  They died at the scene. Hartford Teen In Critical Condition, 16-Year-Old Shot In 'Domestic' Attack: Police A 16-year-old Connecticut girl is in critical condition following an early morning shooting Tuesday, Sept. 17, authorities said.  Police were called to a  Hartford County home around 12:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting in Hartford. The address wasn't released to protect the victim as investigators believe this is a "domestic-related" attack.  Hartford police found the girl suffering from a bullet wound. Norwalk Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Motorcycle Crash A Connecticut motorcyclist was hit and killed over the weekend, and police are asking to speak with witnesses.  Fairfield County resident Dwight Clifford St. John, of Norwalk, was hit on Saturday, Sept. 14, just after 5:30 p.m., Norwalk Police said.  A vehicle struck St. John near the intersection of Winfield Street and Pequot Drive.
