Western Mass Man Killed In Weekend Wreck Remembered As Loving Father, Friend State police have identified the man killed in a Friday, July 7, motorcycle versus SUV crash on I-91 in Springfield as a 23-year-old father from the city.  Dayquan Miguel Ortiz died after his motorcycle slammed into the back of a Jeep just after 2 p.m. near mile marker 7 in the southbound lane of the highway, state police said on Monday. The impact ejected Ortiz from the bike and threw him onto the pavement. Rescuers tried to save his life, but they couldn't revive him.  Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where doctors later pronounced him dead.  The SUV driver was not injur…
