A member of one of America’s best-known political families is being remembered for a life spent mostly outside politics.
Douglas Shepp McCain, the eldest son of the late Sen. John McCain, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 20, according to his obituary. He was 66.
The obituary was published by Virginia-based H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Inc.
A cause of death was not disclosed.
McCain was born Oct. 4, 1959, in Pensacola, Florida, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, according to his obituary.
