Middleborough Man Dies After Firefighters Pull Him From Burning Home
A Middleborough man has died days after firefighters pulled him from his burning home earlier this week. Nathaniel Williams, 67, succumbed to injuries sustained in the Monday, Dec. 2 blaze, according to Middleborough Fire Chief Owen Thompson. The fire broke out at the two-story home on Locust Street around 9:15 p.m. Firefighters arrived six minutes after the 911 call to find the first floor engulfed in flames. Woman Set Fire At Maynard Home That Injured Firefighter: Police
A 26-year-old woman has been arrested after police say she intentionally started a house fire in Maynard last month. Anabelle Dentino, of Maynard, is charged with arson of a dwelling and causing injury to a firefighter, Maynard police said. She is being held without bail. Firefighters were called to 1 Little Road in Maynard to reports of a structure fire. While battling the blaze, a firefighter suffered minor injuries. $5,000 Bounty To Find Arsonist Who Torched ATV In Newton
Police and fire investigators are asking for the public's help to determine who set an ATV on fire earlier this month, and they're offering a reward for any information leading to an arrest. Newton firefighters received multiple 911 calls for a fire at 85 Dudley Road around 5:30 p.m. on June 1. When they arrived, flames had consumed a Polaris 900 ATV, which retail for about $3,000.
