Newly Minted Millionaire: Billerica Man Claims Massive Win On $10 Ticket A Billerica man who recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery said he plans to invest that money.  Mark Aucoin won the seven-figure windfall by playing the $10 scratch-off ticket “$2,000,000 50X Cashword." Related: $15.4 Million Lottery Ticket Given As A Birthday Gift Aucoin chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  He bought the winning ticket at the Gulf gas station at 349 Great Rd. in Bedford. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Bedford Woman Fatally Shot Parents In Their Car: DA A Bedford woman was arrested and charged with killing her parents on Thursday, June 6, after she told someone she had killed them, authorities said.  Jessica Cavallaro, 24, has been charged with murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injuries, and illegal possession of a firearm, the Middlesex District Attorney said.   Bedford police received a 911 call around 9 a.m. Thursday that said Cavallaro had told them that she had shot and killed her parents, the prosecutor said.  When police arrived at their parents' home, they …
